We expect to make money by providing marketing and advertising products to our nominees. Some of these are:

Providing email services to PickCity nominees. For example: through PickCity, they can email a thank-you note to people who voted for them or contact others who have expressed an interest in their product or service –but they never get to see the individual addresses, so your information stays private. Providing links to nominees’ websites. Providing links from PickCity's results screens directly to nominee's sites is a great way for them to get additional business. Why this is good for you: If you learn about a business through PickCity and want to find out more, you’ll probably want to click right through.

Providing discount coupons from our nominees to PickCity viewers. Allowing PickCity nominees to offer on-line discounts and specials to everyone who views PickCity is another great way for them to get additional business. Why this is good for you: Discount and special coupons are the tried and true way for you to save money.

Providing basic websites and web info areas to nominees. Many of our nominees are mom-and-pop businesses. Most local businesses can’t afford to put a lot of time and money into building and maintaining a website. We offer to establish a turnkey Web presence for any nominee for a cost-effective monthly fee. Why this is good for you: If your favorite establishments go online, you can find out when they’re open, what’s on the menu, what’s special, and other basic information that you want to know.

Selling data. We will sell statistics, in the aggregate, to organizations that have an interest in studying the voting patterns at PickCity. We do this while honoring our commitment to protecting your privacy.
